Kim McCoy Wade, formerly the Chief of the CalFresh Branch at the Department of Social Services, has been appointed the acting Director of the California Department of Aging.
McCoy Wade will moves into this position replacing Fran Mueller, who filled the post since the retirement of Lora Connolly. McCoy Wade is a graduate of Carleton College and holds a J.D. from NYU School of Law.
