The California State Legislature has adjourned for a month-long summer recess, heading back to their home districts, which makes this a great time to invite legislators to tour your community! Hosting your representative helps them understand the needs of not for profit providers of senior living and care, allowing them to better understand our issues as they shape public policy.
LeadingAge California wants to help facilitate these meetings through our Home District Month, July 14th through August 9th, to provide an opportunity for you to share your work and daily service to your community. The LeadingAge California Policy staff will coordinate schedules and assist with visit specifics to ensure a successful experience with your legislator visits.
